My Favorite Homemaking Sites

I looked on my editorial calender today to see what to write about here on The Frazzled Homemaker and saw I had just scheduled “blog post”. Now what I mean when I put “blog post” in my calender is I write something personal, not just information. Well, I just did that in the last post I did called Don’t Believe Everything You Think and I don’t think ya’ll can stand two personal posts in one week.

So I decided to share with you some of my favorite homemaking sites.

The first is called Living on a Dime. This is a great site for all things frugal and organized. Love this site and have bought several of their ebooks.

Next we have Raising Homemakers. My favorite thing about this site is the weekly (I believe it’s weekly, not totally sure) Homemaker’s Link-up. That’s where people with homemaking blogs link to their best homemaking article that week. If you are bored, you can spend quite a lot of time reading some great articles and finding wonderful homemaking blogs there.

Now we have Frugal and Simple. This is written by a young mom who is wise beyond her years. I actually found her video-podcast first on I-tunes (just search for The Frugal and Simple Living Show) and it was wonderful! Unfortunately she stopped making the video podcasts about a year ago but the ones she has up there are definitely worth watching. Her blog is great too.

Next we have Old Fashioned Homemaking which has a wealth of homemaking articles and yummy recipes.

Definitely one of my favorite blogs, Organizing Made Fun, Becky the author, shows what a beautiful organized home, and life should look like. I want to be her when I grow up.

The Comforts of Home, has gorgeous pictures of the author, Penny’s beautiful home.  Also some great recipes too and more. I love browsing her blog.

Last but not least, is Cozy Little House. Lots of how-to projects, and beautiful photography.

There are more blogs I like, but I don’t want to overwhelm you. Do go check these sites out. You’ll be glad you did.

  1. Haha… I’ve visited the Raising Homemakers site and have seen the link-ups, but I always passed by, thinking it was some sort of Facebook thing and inwardly lamenting a facebook-free life. Haha! Going to go back and read those posts now. Thank you.
