Meal Plan for December 3-9

I know I’m over a week late but I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I totally missed last Monday’s Meal Plan. I had a great time with my family. Good eatins’ and then I watched the kids play with my son’s WiU. A nice family time.

I’ve been busy the last few weeks, mostly with my ornament business but I did have time to squeeze in one Squidoo lens. Here it is below if you are interested:

Hello Kitty Bags

I also finished a long time project that I have been working on for months just for fun. It’s a beaded bracelet I made free style (no pattern) and I only had a chance to work on it an hour or two a week. That’s why it took me so long. Here it is:

I love doing creative stuff like that just for fun but don’t seem to have much time for it.

Beef Stew
Cheesy Mexi-Chicken
Garden Salad
Fast Food Friday
Grilled Steak
Grilled Veggies:Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms
BBQ Chicken
Snap Peas
Baked Potato

I’m going to give you the link to where I found the Cheesy Mexican Chicken if you want to try it:

So how are you doing on your Christmas shopping? I still have a ways to go but I plan to do most of it online, probably through Amazon.

Have a great week!

  1. I purchased my first Christmas gift today – on-line. It was a specialty item so I was really excited when I found it. The first one I found was $19.99 plus $5 shipping. The second was $12.99 with free shipping. Guess which one I bought?!

Tomorrow I’m going to get my haircut and then my 3-year-old granddaughter, who LOVES to shop, is going Christmas shopping with me. I can’t wait. It’s going to be awesome!

  2. Sounds like fun Patty. I have a 3 year old granddaughter too! Love those little munchkins!

Today is the last day to enter round 3 of Merry Merry Munchies at Dining With Debbie. I have a great giveaway going on that you won’t want to miss: (1) $50 gift card to, my favorite jeweler and (2) a signed copy of Arkansas Pie: A Slice of the Natural State by author and fellow blogger, Kat Robinson. I hope your will come link up.

I have bought exactly two Christmas gifts so far! I do have a list made though which is further along than normal for me. I’m trying to keep things super simple this year. We’ll see how that goes 🙂

  5. Good luck Jean! It’s scary to think Christmas is less than 20 days away. I’m not ready!

MPM definitely keeps me on track. I actually look forward to Mondays!
    Your menu plan looks delicious.
