Meal Plan for December 31-January 6

My last post for the year! So how was 2012 for you? Overall it was good for me. Of course there were ups and downs but it was still a pretty good year. I hope 2013 will be even better. For all of us.

I will spend the first day of the new year taking down Christmas decorations. I’ll have my 3 year old granddaughter to “help” me.

I normally have black eyed peas on New Year’s Day but I forgot to buy them this year. I did decide to bring in the new year with a turkey someone gave us at Thanksgiving. I had already bought one so I froze the extra one.

Mashed Potatoes
Green Beans
Leftovers from yesterday
Turkey and Corn Soup
Garden Salad
Fast Food Friday
Grilled Steak
Grilled Asparagus
Cube Steak and Gravy
Mashed Potatoes
Brussels Sprouts

Here’s a link that I use for the turkey corn soup recipe I use:

Have a great week!

  1. MPM definitely keeps me on track. I actually look forward to Mondays!
This New Year’s Eve, I’m staying home, cleaning our house and doing some blog visiting. Hubby had to work so it will be quiet.
    Your menu plan looks delicious.
Have a wonderful week and a Happy New Year!

  2. Yeah I’ll be home tonight too with my granddaughter staying over all night. Now, I’ll just have my 3 grown kids to worry about cos I know they are all going out.
Happy New Year Rona and hope 2013 is a healthy and happy one for you friend!
