Meal Plan for October 15-21

How’s your week been? Fall is in full swing here although the leaves haven’t started to change yet. They usually don’t til beginning of November. Unfortunately they don’t get very pretty around here. Fortunately they do get beautiful in the mountains so my son and I plan to go visit my sister in a few weeks to see them.

I was busy this week working on ornaments again but I did manage to squeeze in one Squidoo lens. Here it is below if you are interested:

The last thing I want to mention before I get to my menu is to keep my little grand daughter MayMay in prayer. She’s going through surgery on Tuesday to correct a defect with her belly button. It’s minor surgery but she’s only 3 and it’s hard to explain to a 3 year old.

Okay, on to this week’s dinner menu plan:

Roast Beef and Gravy
Potatoes, Celery, Onions and Carrots
BBQ Beef Sandwiches
French Fries
Taco Salad
Fast Food Friday
Grilled Steak
Baked Potatoes
Green Beans
Hot Dogs
Potato Salad

I’m going to give you my recipe for easy roast beef:

Roast Beef

Chuck roast or any other cut of beef roast that you want

Vegies you like. We use Potatoes, Carrots, Celery, and Onions.

Packet of Italian Dressing Mix

Packet of Ranch Dressing Mix

3 Packets of Brown Gravy Mix

2-3 cups water

You can make this in the crock pot or bake it. Arrange meat and veggies in your cooking pan or pot. Pour in gravy mix and add water. Sprinkle dressing mixes over top and cook until veggies are tender and meat is cooked through.
